Subject: pictures of Clyde Robey on Kodiak Military History website

I have come upon the Kodiak Military History website almost by accident. I am Clyde Glenn Roby, Jr. (born 1949), son of Clyde Glenn Roby (born 1915), who served in the Aleutian Islands, probably on Kodiak Island, during WWII, in the 201st Infantry from West Virginia. Several people misspell our surname as Robey and that misspelling eventually led me to your web page.

A neighbor of ours up the street was trying to find our phone number by searching the web for "Clyde Robey" via Google. She got a few hits and one of them was http://209.165.152.119/photos/54spencer/ She sent me that information since one of the pictures might be of a man related to me. I went to that website and -- sure enough -- two of those pictures are of my dad.

I tried to contact the email address pattypaine@prodigy.net but it bounced. I then tried a web search via Google and thought I might have found her, but it was the wrong person. Do you know how I might contact her? Or do you know how those pictures came to be on your website? Evidently, she tried to sell them on eBay, but the eBay URL no longer works.

I am looking for the person who might have the original pictures in order to find out more about the background of them as well as that person. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much!

Clyde Roby, Jr.
