Hi Joe,
  Just found this amazing site you've built and am sharing it with people
like myself, from Kodiak, who really enjoy learning more about the
amazing history.  My sister (our family name is Clymer) sent me this
photo recently.
My father (Chester Clymer Sr.) was stationed on Shemya during WWII, then
he & my uncle (Burl Clymer) returned and worked in construction on the
Naval Base in the 40's.
  I'll forward the photo following this message just in case it doesn't
come through with this.

When I was in Italy I met a guy who had been in Kodiak during WWII and
he took this picture.  Everyone is lined up to collect the whiskey
ration for the month.  I thought that was interesting.  Had to go half
way around the world to get the picture.

Hi Joe,
Hope this comes through for you, it's a great photo.  I shared it with a 
friend today who remembered each building and he went into a great 
description of the entire area.  I just emailed him your website and I'll 
bet he doesn't sleep tonite for looking at it!
