SUPPLEMENT ANNEXES

to
HARBOR DEFENSE PROJECT
OF
KODIAK
1944

This document is our main source for information on Army activities in Kodiak during WW II. It consists of maps of almost all harbor defense sites detailed with placement of water, sewer and power lines. Even the detail of what each pair in every telephone cable was used for is included.

The Annex includes descriptions of every tactical structure. Land acquisitions with dates and authorities. Each gun and it's ammunition is detailed from the eight inch Naval guns down to the .50 caliber machine guns. No anti-aircraft armament is mentioned.

More details fom the document will be added here as time permits. There are three copies in Kodiak. One is at the Ft. Abercrombie Ranger Station. Look for a three-ring binder on the public bookshelf.

The portions of the ANNEX reproduced here try to faithfully duplicate all character spacings, indentations and errors.
